This policy explains what personal data the PhaseUp app (phaseup.sk) processes, why, for how long and what your rights are. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.

Our legitimate interest is to run a secure and reliable app, to reply to you and to improve the app. You may object to processing on this basis at any time (section 6).
We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising and do not make automated decisions with legal effects based on it.
Deleted data may remain for a while in server backups, which are used solely to recover from a failure.
We do not share data with anyone else unless required by law.
We only use what the app cannot work without. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why we do not ask for consent.

You have the right of access to your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can change your name and password yourself in your profile (👤 ACCOUNT). Send account deletion and other requests from the e-mail you registered with, or via Contact the developer. We will handle them without undue delay, within one month at the latest.
If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk, or with the supervisory authority in your country.
The connection is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored only as a hash (bcrypt), the database is not reachable from the internet and only the controller has access to the server.
PhaseUp is a tool for people who work with power at events and is not intended for anyone under 16.
When the way we process data changes (for example when payments are added), we will update this policy and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by e-mail.
